How long do Boveda packs last?
This will likely depend on your humidor, the conditions of your home, and the season. How often you open your humidor and if your container is airtight can also impact a Boveda pack’s lifespan. Typically, though, you can expect them to last 2 to 4 months. When your Boveda pack feels hard, it’s time to replace it.
How to use Boveda Packs
All you need to do is remove the Boveda pack from inside its plastic wrapping. Then, simply place the pack inside of your humidor or container to start prolonging the freshness of your King Palm blunt cones. Boveda packs control the humidity of your containers with pure salts and water, so it’s perfectly safe to place the pack directly on top of your rolls, dry herb, or cigars.
How does Boveda work?
Boveda packs not only maintain precise relative humidity (RH) in your humidor, but also work to control and restore levels where they should be. They do so by using a combination of water and salts to both release humidity when RH is low — and remove humidity when RH is too high.
